ABOUT US

Apitherapy Institute Hawai’i is located in lower Puna, home of the Kilauea East Rift Zone and Volcano Goddess Tutu Pele. Revered for its stunning black lava ocean beaches and tide pools, vivacious lush jungle and volcanic activity; many people come to this land (Aina) for healing. For the last decade, I have been blessed to live here - stewarding land, raising my daughter, dancing hula and learning from my dearest teachers, the bees.

I began remembering the way of the honeybee the year I moved to Hawaii. My first experience was a wild hive transfer. As I cut the honeycomb, time stood still. Bees buzzzing all around, honey dripping onto my hands, the scent of their pheromones intoxicating me; a profound soul remembrance was activated. The infinity of life danced through my blood and bones and an expansive feeling of union grounded into my body. I was forever changed and from that moment on, I devoted my life to guardian and protector of the bees.

In 2020, I began studying Apitherapy and practicing bee venom therapy. I am currently apprenticing under the lineage of Hoshindo Japanese Meridian Apitherapy and studying with master Apitherapist Dr. Stefan Stângaciu of Romania. I take clients at my Apitherapy office both in Puna and Hilo, as well as offer home visits. Please look at my services page for more details and to book a session.
